Managing user permissions

Control team member access

Team roles & permissions

Manage people under Settings → Team. Each member gets a role and optional custom permissions.

Built-in roles

  • Owner — full access including billing
  • Admin — organization management without owner-only actions
  • Manager — operations across assigned modules
  • Cashier — POS-focused access
  • Storekeeper, Accountant, Auditor — specialized read/write scopes

Custom permissions

When inviting or editing a member, toggle granular permissions (sales.create, inventory.adjust, reports.view, and others). Combine permissions with location access so staff only see allowed branches.

Best practice

Grant the minimum access required and remove departed staff promptly.
